No Time. For real, yo.

I'm dreaming of a beachy Christmas
Just like the ones I used to know
Where the sun is shining,
The old folks whining
And no sleigh bells or deep snow

I'm dreaming of a beachy Christmas
With every snowflake that I see
May the lights shine on the palm tree
And may all your Christmases include the beach

I'm dreaming of a beachy Christmas
With every snowflake that I see
May the lights shine on the palm tree
And may all your Christmases include the beach.

That's my rendition of White Christmas. I wrote it a few weeks ago, when I had time. But now time laughs at me as it flies by and nothing gets done. Well, that's not true. I wrote a 10-page lab report on my research today, and I have a 12-page paper about Down's Syndrome due at 8AM tomorrow. I'm still reading all the books I have. It's impressive, if I do say so myself. I think I almost rival my friend Walker's Fort of Knowledge. (He's crazy and writing a thesis on the middle ages, so his library carrel is covered in multiple layers of books. His shelves are made of cardboard boxes. I might ask him for one to live in when he's done with them.) If you don't believe my excessive amounts of books, I've cleaned out both of Williams' libraries...and Middlebury, Bates, Bowdoin, Colby, NU, and Wellesley's libraries as well. Hope no one in any of those schools needs a book about Down's Syndrome. I HAVE THEM ALL. ::insert evil laugh here:: Anyway. That's what I'll be doing all night. And tomorrow, after turning in my paper, I'll be going to my playgroup as a volunteer instead of an intern (and then spending the rest of the day and night studying for my Middle Ages final exam on Thursday morning). And then I'll be free!! I can't wait to get home and sleep in my bed and shower without shoes on and eat green food and fish. And sweet potatoes. And hug my cat (until he hisses and wriggles himself free).

But until then, I won't be sleeping....most likely at all. I think it'll be the longest I've ever gone without any sleep. This'll be fun.

On a really random note, my friend Allie made me a really really really pretty hat! And now my ears don't freeze off my face anymore. It's a lovely feeling.

Okay study break over. See ya on the other side!
